Vanessa Blumhagen

Vanessa Blumhagen, born in 1977, is a well-known journalist and television presenter in Germany, best known for her appearances on "SAT.1 Frühstücksfernsehen", the network's morning show. She began her career as a print editor at renowned publications before moving into television. Blumhagen lives with the autoimmune condition Hashimoto's thyroiditis, about which she has written several books that became bestsellers.

She founded "Hashimoto Deutschland" to support those affected by the condition. Blumhagen lives in Hamburg with her husband and her French Bulldog Enna and is dedicated to raising awareness about Hashimoto's.
